I bought an older model conversion van with reduced miles using the intention of placing some up to date electronics in it like a dvd player, flat screen television, and nintendo wii. Let me let you know that using this inverter was all I needed to hook it up fairly nicely. All three appliances are hooked as much as this thing with the addition of a serge protector and work flawlessly. Its all a matter of operating it via the battery instead of utilizing the cigarette lighter. Just be sure that the appliance you need to give power to is no much more than a 120v current, which most aren't anyway. But this product is fantastic and I'm 100% happy!
